Tara Mullan-Lead Designer

 

Tara started her career in the marine industry working on small passenger vessels through Alaska’s Inside Passage, San Francisco’s Wine Country, and Mexico’s Sea of Cortes. A decade later she made the leap into marine transit with the Washington State Ferries, where she managed the day-to-day concession and vendor operations. There, she was involved with multiple galley modifications and seven new vessel builds, working with shipyard inspectors and foreman.

Tara has a working knowledge of passenger vessel interiors and the regulatory agencies that oversee safety and security. Her vast experience, combined with her training at the Interior Design Institute, gives her a practical, problem-solving approach to the elements of design, color, and furnishings for vessel owners and operators.
